Had a massive breakfast with Manera. Sausages, beans and mushrooms with smoothies and coffee.
After yesterdays disappointing turn outs I decided to do some drastic measures and decided to flyer on the Royal Mile with a silver cowboy hat and my kilt. I had my guitar with me and James Sherwood said, “People will look at you and realise you’re not a real Scotsman and leave your show.”
It was pissing it down with rain so bought a tartan umbrella to go with the kilt.
I met Sheena on the Mile and we were part of the hardcore flyerers and did two hours in the rain. And it was cold too. She told me that I’m getting a reputation now for having a big cock. Not a rumour that I want to dismiss lightly.
It was actually quite fun flyering in the rain as there was a bit camaraderie between the flyerers. One side admitted this was their job and they were being paid for it and the other side were lunatics because they can choose to stay at home.
Went to the Bunker gig and there was no one there. So I dragged all of the props and guitar over to the Meadows and had an audience. It went well so I was chuffed with that. About a third full and the show went really well. Very happy bunny. Last year the first show was a bit of a shambles, but this almost worked like clockwork. Back on form now.
